Dieter and I met in 2003/4 in the Camphill Community Blair Drummond, near Stirling. Dieter was workshop leader for basketry and I was a volunteer co-worker to support the residents with special needs. We became friends and shared a couple of visions of how to make this place even more enjoyable for the people we worked with.
One special impression I kept in mind was that Kune worked with the birds of prey in the safari park right next to the community. So we got the wonderful chance to introduce one of the residents to the birds. He could meet them and experience his very own impression and reaction to them while walking around the little lake and commanding the bird (with Dieters' help) to fly and land on his arm. I remember the residents excitement and joy.
Dieter was always very relaxed, understanding, with a big smile, a wonderful sense of humour and the great ability to cheer one up...
May the sun always shine warm and bright for every memory of you (o: ~
...and may our children always be friends
